measuring your space

Thank you in advance for your efforts and working with me as I recreate your space as a 3D model. :) Being that I need to design this to scale, the more measurements I get, the better.

 

It's not hard to measure a wall, but there are some details I need that sometimes get overlooked. So I created this guide to make sure we're on the same page.

Step 1 - Download the app, “Measures” (iPhone) or “Measurements on Image” (Android)

Step 2 - Take pictures of each wall.

Try your best to include all four corners of the wall in your photo.

Step 3 - Record the measurements of the room going from edge to edge.

Step 4 - Record the measurements of furniture you want to keep.

Step 5 - Post the following onto Pinterest:

  1. The photos with the measurements using feet and inches. Make sure the numbers aren’t overlapping and clearly visible.  I may need some more measurements so I will get back to you on that. 

  2. The original photos you took without the measurements.
